The information on this page supplements the official manuals.
Functionality of the Input block
The input section provides the following functionality, depending on the hardware:
- Noise gate
- Preset input level
- Input impedance
Preset input level
The Level parameter on the GTE/IN page is not related to the noise gate. It allows sending a lower or higher level into the effects grid which can be used to compensate for guitars with varying output.
Input block as a Global Block
The settings can be saved as a global block in the Axe-Fx II.
