Ring Modulator: supported by which Fractal Audio devices?
- Axe-Fx II: yes.
- AX8: no.
- FX8: no.
Ring Modulator and X/Y switching
- The RingMod block doesn't support X/Y switching.
Ring Modulator as an Octaver effect
- The Ring Modulator works great as an octaver, adding a low octave. Enable the Tracking parameter, set Freq at 500 Hz, and turn down Hi Cut to 500 Hz or lower.
Turning the Ring Modulator into an "evil" Whammy effect
- For a cool effect: attach a pedal to the Freq parameter. This turns the Ring Modulator into an "evil" Whammy.
