What is the Scene MIDI block

This Axe-Fx III-only block sends up to 8 CC or PC MIDI messages through the MIDI OUT port upon scene changes. Each scene can have different MIDI messages.

It must be added to the grid to use, but it does not have to be connected to the signal chain. The block can't be bypassed (but a scene can be configured to send no MIDI messages).

More information in the Owner's Manual.

Other ways to transmit MIDI

The Axe-Fx III and FC controllers provide more methods to transmit MIDI messages. I/O > MIDI/Remote allows transmitting a MIDI PC through MIDI OUT with each preset change automatically.
