Shimmer effect

Multi Delay timing/tempo and fixed number of repeats

  • If you need a specific number of repeats, use Band Delay or Tap Ten Delay.
  • In Plex Shift Mode, adjusting Shift will affect pitch, tempo and the number of repeats. This is not a bug. source

No Multi Delay spillover

  • Multi Delay doesn't support spillover between presets.

Mono Tape Echo with Multi Delay

  • The Multi Delay features a "true" Mono Tape Echo mode.

Multi Delay parameters

  • Low Cut and High Cut have been extended to the Quad-Tap and Quad Tape types in the Multidelay block. These parameters control highpass and lowpass filters which filter the feedback from all the delay lines in contrast to the individual bandpass filters on each delay line. This allows quick and asy creation of bandlimited delays.
    • Feedback in the Quad-Tap and Quad Tape types is no longer constrained to sum to 100%. Instead the total feedback is calculated and then normalized to 100% if the total exceeds 100%. This allows easier control of the feedback values.
    • Drive: the Drive parameter allows adding distortion to the echoes when using the block before an Amp block.
  • Cliff's comments:
    • "Filters are defeated if Master Q is 0.1. Turn up the Master Q." source
