About the Metronome
The Metronome is not an effect block. It’s part of the Tempo menu.
To hear the metronome signal, turn up the level. On the Axe-Fx III, FM9 and FM3, the level can be set per output and USB/Digital. The Axe-Fx II and AX8 send the metronome signal through Output 1 only.
Tips, tricks and troubleshooting
Remote control
You can start and stop the Metronome through MIDI, by pressing a switch that has been assigned to the Metronome's MIDI CC. If the Metronome starts automatically and cannot be stopped, it's probably triggered by a MIDI CC transmitted by your DAW. Disable this in your DAW, or set the Metronome's MIDI CC to NONE in the I/O menu.
