X/Y switching in the Tremolo/Panner block

The Tremolo/Panner block in the Axe-Fx II XL and XL+, the FX8 and the AX8 supports X/Y switching.

Other Tremolo effects

Amp block

The Amp block also provides a tremolo effect: Bias Tremolo. Its effect depends on the specific amp model.

Ring Modulator

You can configure the Ring Modulator to act as a tremolo, by turning down Frequency all the way.

Flanger

You can even turn a Flanger into a tremolo.

Start Tremolo on the beat

You can make the Tremolo start on the beat (triggered), by using the Start Phase parameter.

• When using a high gain amp tone, put Tremolo after the Amp block for more distinct tremolo.
• You can make the Panner effect appear “fuller” and “wider” (stereo only) by adding the Stereo Enhancer.
