==How to use X/Y switching==
+
==Notes==
* You can set up certain effect blocks to switch between two sets of parameters. For example, with Amp blocks you can have 4 configured amps per preset, of which two can be active. Then use the X/Y knob on the front panel, or an IA switch (toggle) on a MIDI foot controller, to switch between the sets. This essentially doubles the number of those blocks within a preset. X and Y can be the same type of effect, say a RAT drive, but with different parameters. There's no transition between the two. Switching occurs at block level using a MID CC, not on preset level. How to switch between X/Y on multiple effects simultaneously

Set and use a single X/Y CC for the desired effects.

How to copy settings between X and Y

By double-clicking Y you can copy the parameters from the X channel, and vice versa.

Configuring floot controllers

If you have an effect block with X/Y, you can configure the floor controller to turn on the effect in either X or Y mode.

  1. IA Switch 1, ON message: DELAY 1 ON, DELAY 1 X (CC#47:127, CC#106: 127)
  2. IA Switch 1, OFF message: DELAY 1 OFF, DELAY 1 X (CC#47:0, CC#106: 127)
  3. IA Switch 2, OFF message: DELAY 1 ON, DELAY 1 Y (CC#47:127, CC#106: 0)
  4. IA Switch 2, OFF message: DELAY 1 OFF, DELAY 1 Y (CC#47:0, CC#106: 0)

Use the controller's group/link feature. Source
