Tremolo/Panner and X/Y switching

The Tremolo/Panner block in the Axe-Fx II XL and XL+, the FX8 and the AX8 supports X/Y switching.

Amp block's Tremolo

The Amp block also provides a tremolo effect: Bias Tremolo. Its effect depends on the specific amp model.

Ring Modulator as a Tremolo

You can configure the Ring Modulator to act as a tremolo, by turning down Frequency all the way.

Starting Tremolo on the beat

You can make the Tremolo start on the beat (triggered), by using the Start Phase parameter.

Tips

When using a high gain amp tone, put Tremolo after the Amp block for more distinct tremolo.
