What is flanging
Types
- The Axe-Fx II Flanger now includes predefined types, including Through Zero flanging.
Mono or stereo
- Flanger is a stereo effect but defaults to mono to prevent phase problems when used before an Amp block. To make it stereo adjust the LFO Phase parameter.
Thru-Zero flanging
- Firmware 4.00 added the Dry Delay Shift parameter. This allows moving the thru-zero point from the center (default) to the edge or anywhere in between.
