It sounds very good. It has the analog path from the Axe-Fx III (which evolved from the FX-8). Beta testers report that it "plays nicely" with difficult fx loops.

  • SPDIF (48kHz fixed), e.g. to connect to FM3.
• Analog bypass: no AD/DA conversion, no processing, no latency. Controllable with a switch or automatically.
• VP4 is unity gain, unless programmed otherwise.
• Can be used with the FM3 as an analog stereo insert, enabling PRE as well as POST effects.

  • USB OUT channels 1+2: processed output, 3+4: unprocessed (copy of inputs).
