About the Scene MIDI block

This block lets you send up to eight CC or PC MIDI messages through the MIDI OUT port upon a scene change, through different MIDI channels if needed. The MIDI messages can vary per scene.

The block must be added to the grid to use (except on the VP4), but does not have to be connected to the signal chain. It can't be bypassed, but a scene can be configured to send no MIDI messages.

You can also use the Scene MIDI block to send MIDI commands to the device itself, by connecting MIDI OUT to MIDI IN.

The Scene MIDI block doesn't support Global blocks.

For more information see:

FRACTAL AUDIO QUOTES

[1] The MIDI block only sends data out the MIDI Out DIN jack. It does NOT send to the USB. The purpose of the MIDI block is to control other equipment in you rack via standard MIDI.
