Tremolo/Panner and X/Y switching

The Tremolo/Panner block in the Axe-Fx II XL and XL+, the FX8 and the AX8 supports X/Y switching.

Amp block's Tremolo

• The Amp block also provides a tremolo effect: Bias Tremolo. Its effect depends on the specific amp model.

Ring Modulator as a Tremolo

You can configure the Ring Modulator to act as a tremolo, by turning down Frequency all the way.

Starting Tremolo on the beat

• You can make the Tremolo start on the beat (triggered), by using the Start Phase parameter.

Tips

When using a high gain amp tone, put Tremolo after the Amp block for more distinct tremolo.

You can make the Panner effect appear “fuller” and “wider” (stereo only) by adding the Stereo Enhancer.
