Mono or stereo

  • There always be discussions (example). The Axe-Fx II sounds gloriously in stereo. However, that experience will not always translate very well to a live audience, because people seldom are in the right spot to hear both sides equally well.

Different mode for each output

  • The Axe-Fx II allows different mono/stereo modes for each output.

Effect blocks and mono/stereo processing

  • Flanger, Chorus and Phaser are set to mono by default. Use the parameter LFO Phase to switch the effect to stereo.
  • Everything before an Amp block (and before a mono Cab or Drive block) will be summed to mono.
