What are the Axe-Fx Standard and Ultra

  • The first generation of the Axe-Fx processor consisted of two models. The original Axe-Fx (now commonly known as the Axe-Fx Standard]) was released in 2006. In 2008, Fractal released the Axe-Fx Ultra, which doubled the processing power and added memory and Ultra-only effects.

End Of Life

  • With the release of the Axe-Fx II in May 2011, Fractal has discontinued production of these models (End Of Life).
